Biography

Dr Debra Graves is Chairman of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.  She is also a Board Member of Mindgardens, the first translational research centre in Australia to focus exclusively on disorders that involve the brain, emotions, nervous system and thinking processes.

She was previously the Chief Executive Officer of The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, a position she held for over 25 years. and Chairman of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Board. She holds Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the University of Queensland and a Master in Health Administration from the University of New South Wales. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Medical Administrators; a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. She is also an Examiner for The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
